Are tips reported toemployer included in W2 block 1 and 3 totals or is there another spot to enter that information under the basic version?

Are tips reported to employer in W-2 block 7 rolled up  into W2 block 1 and 3 wage totals or is there another spot to separately enter that information under the basic turbotax version which means the filer's total income would need to add that reported tip amount in as supplemental income to the block 1/3 wage totals?

The tips you report to your employer are in Box 7 are included in Box 1 - Wages tips and other compensation.  You only need to enter the W-2 into TurboTax exactly the way it appears.  You don't need to add anything else in.

The tips that you reported should be included in box 1, but they should not be included in box 3.
