App crashing when I click "Print Required Forms".

I have just finished e-file (federal and New Mexico). The next page says "Print and Mail these to the Governement" and then "Even though you e-filed, don't skip this paperwork. These are items required by the government to complete your return." After that there's a button that says "Print Required Forms". When I click this button, the app crashes. I have no idea what forms it's trying to print because it won't print them or tell me. Furthermore, why weren't these forms included in the e-file that I paid for?

Some forms aren't available to be E-filed yet. This could be because the IRS or State hasn't released the form to be electronically filed. Once they do release it, it might take a few days for TurboTax to integrate it into the system. 

If the form says its Unsupported, it means that it is not supported by TurboTax, and you won't be able to file it electronically. Instead, you will have to print and mail either the form itself or the whole return.

Try these options to fix the issue you are having about the app crashing 

 

If you are using the Phone App

 

  • Try using a laptop/computer instead. This might be your best option
  • Use a web browser within your phone or tablet instead of the app. 
  • Make sure that your phone/tablet is updated, and that the app is updated as well. 

 

If you are using TurboTax Online 

  • Check ‌your browser's settings. (Clear your Cache and Cookies)
  • Check on your internet connection
  • Try using a different web browser

If you are using TurboTax Desktop

  • Make sure the software is updated. 
  • If you haven't rebooted your computer, please do
  • Check your firewall and antivirus settings. Make sure they aren't blocking any feature of the software.
