Any good reason why Turbotax is not allowing me to file an extension? I'm trying it on 1/4/25. It replies with "It looks like this filing is not available". Thank you.

it's too late to file an extension for 2023 and e-filing has not yet opened for 2024.

You cannot request an extension for a 2024 return yet. You will be able to do that in several months. And it is way too late to ask for an extension for a past year like 2023.
