Amount appearing in Box 2b after uploading my 1099-DIV for TY2025 using TurboTax Onlne

Greetings.  I received a 1099-DIV for TY2025 from the REIT that I invest in.  The only amount on the form with a value in it is the one in box 3 (Non-Dividend Distributions).  All the other boxes are blank.  When I upload the form into TurboTax (Web Version),  an amount appears in Box 2b - 'Unrecap. Sec. 1250 gain' yet this box is blank on the original form.  This is my first experience investing in a REIT, so perhaps  I don't understand all about how capital gains are computed.  Can anyone shed some light on whey this amount is appearing and how the amount is computing?  Thanks.

How did you upload it?

Did you upload a picture or PDF file?

IF you uploaded a picture or PDF file....I usually recommend not doing that.  An A.I. is used to interpret the form, and it gets the boxes wrong too many times.

My opinion is that you should just edit that 1099-DIV to put the $$ in the proper box based on your Paper form.

AND, don't enter any $0.00 that might show up on your paper 1099-DIV forms, doing so can cause problems...just leave those boxes blank.

Thanks for the response.  Yes, the upload is a pdf file I downloaded from my financial institution.  I'll take your suggestion and go ahead and do the edit based on the paper form.  All the other boxes on the form are blank, no zero amounts but it's good to know that too for the future.  Thanks again.
