Amended Return E-file or Mail?

I amended my return today to included a 1099-INT that I missed with a few hundred dollars from interest on cashed bonds.

The software took me through a bunch of steps including asking what bank account I wanted the slight amount due withdrawn from. But at the end it said I had to print and mail in my amended return with a check.

I received an email saying my return was processing, and then a few hours later that my return was accepted. Is it going to withdraw the money from my account, or do I still need to send in my amended return and a check via mail?

If you received confirmation that your amended return was successfully e-filed, as long as you did include instructions to have the payment electronically withdrawn from your bank account, you would not need to mail any payments in.  Please see Where's My Amended Return?  to track it directly with the IRS.
