If you replied yes to the following two statements, then you are set up as a dependent:

1. Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return
2. And this person will claim me on their 2019 tax return

You can check this information by following the directions below to return to the personal information section of your return:

1. Log in and open your return (unless already open)
2. Click the My Info tab on the left side of the screen
3. On the next screen, click the Edit hyperlink beside your name
4. On the next screen, scroll down to number three and check your responses
