Am I considered an independent contractor for a company I work for, but they do not provide any tax forms. How do I file if income was received via paypal?

Here is the company that I work for: https://www.rover.com/ (A Place for Rover, Inc.).  They deduct fees from my pay for all work I complete as an independent contractor, but this does not include any taxes.  All remaining income I receive is provided to me (by them) via direct deposit in paypal.  Paypal also does not appear to have any tax forms for me.  How do I report my income?

Yes, your activity as an independent contractor would be reported on Schedule C of your tax return. Income from self-employment is subject to self-employment taxes as well as income tax. TurboTax will handle preparing the required forms for you.

Since you received no official tax forms reporting this income, you will need to rely on your own records. If expenses (like fees) were deducted from the cash you received, enter the gross amount as income and the deductions as expenses.

Schedule C Business Income & Expenses is found in the Business section of TurboTax Self-Employed Online. To find this section, search on "schedule c" to jump to the start of that topic.
