Yes, TurboTax Online automatically saves your return as you continue through the Interview questions and when you sign out. When you return and complete your tax return.

However, in the event of a computer shut down, you could also save your return by completing the following steps below:

• Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in)
• Click on the Take me to my return button
• Scroll down and click on the Tax Tools button (left panel)
• Click on the Print Center (lower left panel).
• Click on Print, Save or Preview this year's return. 

When you return to continue entering your tax return information, please complete the steps below:

• Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in)
• Click on the Take me to my return button 
• Click on "Pick up where I left off" (See images below).
