After selling property that was gifted to me 8 years ago, it show no long term capital gain. Instead it shows short term. Is this correct? Seems it should be long term.

If you had the property for 8 years it should show long term capital gain.  Double check the date you owned the property and the date it was sold.

Shows sale date 08/2018.  Date of gift as 08/2011.  Date acquired by donor as 12/1966.  Still showing as short term gain.  Guess it's a glitch in the program?
