I thought both the federal and state taxes there was no fee. what's up with me having to pay for the state?

you advertised zero fee for both federal and state. I do not want to pay I want what u advertised the service for.

After March 16, 2017, we no longer offered the Absolute Zero program, which allows you to file states for free. Unfortunately, now it does cost to file states, regardless of which package is selected.

If you qualify for the Freedom Edition, it does have a free state. You can try there and see if you meet the qualifications.

If you qualify for the Freedom Edition, it does have a free state. You can try there and see if you meet the qualifications.

false advertising from turbo tax on state fee. You should get your act together.
