is it freezing when trying to load the activation screen? do you have a new computer?

I am having the same issue on a new computer.  The installation completes, TT starts and downloads updates.  Then TT restarts and displays a Authorization box with nothing except a BLUE dot in the middle.

easy fix - 

 

go to your display (start>settings>systems >display) and change the resolution to 800x600. remember what the original setting was! 

 

Launch TT and activate the software... a dollar of your refund says this works!!! 

 

then change the resolution back it its original configuration.

Strange, but that worked.  Is TT not handling the display resolution correctly?

@lynchtax1 - I first found this early in November; i was probably the first one with the problem as I also bought a new computer and was trying to reload my 2019TT (2020TT hadn't even come out yet) ....after many hours on the phone with TT and Microsoft, we realized that there was something 'not playing nice' between Microsoft's Windows Version 20H2, which was released on all new computers effective Oct 10 2020 and TT.... looks like TT has yet to fix the issue, but the workaround I provided is what the engineers gave to the help desk.

Thanks everyone, apparently my error was caused by one of my security settings. Once disabled, it authorized just fine. Thanks for all the suggestions!
