If you set up auto debit directly through the IRS website, then No, you will not need to mail any forms or payment, as the funds should be auto debited. You will want to contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to determine when the payment will be processed.

However, if you choose traditional check as the payment method, in TurboTax, and did not set up auto debit directly with the IRS, then Yes, you will need to mail the voucher along with your payment.

Make sure these 4 items are on the front the check or money order:

  1. Social Security number
  2. Taxpayer's name
  3. Your mailing address
  4. Daytime phone number
