After attempting to e-file my CA tax return, it was rejected, and I had to file via mail. Now my TT file is in "Status: Rejected". How do i get it changed from Rejected?

The status on a prior year online tax return cannot be changed.

You don't. The software does not have any way to know that you put your state return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. The software program will only show the result of what you did using the program. But obviously YOU know that the return was filed and processed by the state.
