If you have Qualified Dividends and/or Long-Term Capital Gains, you don't use the tax in the tax tables because your tax is calculated on the Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet.  This is because Qualified Dividends and Long-Term Capital Gains are taxed at a lower tax rate.

You can click here to view the IRS Capital Gains Tax Worksheet or

You can view the worksheet in TurboTax by:

  • Opening your Tax Return
  • Click "Forms" in the upper right-hand corner
  • Choose "Qual Div/CapGn" from the form list on the left to view the Worksheet
