- 601ERRV:5, CustHdr_17 - ?:? - Invalid SMS Number. Must be between 10 and 10 digits. What can I do?

This is a phone number that should be entered.  Are you entering a phone number with area code?

Yes, I did. I tried the landline number I used last year, then I tried a cellphone number (of a relative). Then I read that since I live abroad, I could enter a string of 5s. Nothing worked.

I have been facing this error since I tried to submit my return weeks ago. My security phone number is a Brazil phone number, because I live abroad. Last year this error did not occur. What validation was added to TurboTax that makes international users unable to use the product now?
