I am trying to change my overpayment for the state after finishing my estimates taxes for 2026, but the revisit buttons doesn't work. All the other revisit buttons work, but not the overpayment. Help.

If you are using desktop software you may need to do a manual update. Try clearing your Cache and Cookies and then try this link instructions.
Thank you for responding. Well I found a work around in the forms sections. I'm not sure if I have to update it manually now. Evertime I opened the software, it seemed to be updating. But! Although I did shut the software down, and then reopened it (still didn't work). I never thought of clearing the cache, so I'll remember that trick next time. I like Turbo federally, but the state tax software not so well. I may go back to H&R.
After downloading your link to manually update my software, I have now lost my almost completed 2025 tax return. It disappeared. I didn't even click the application after downloading. I still have my "saved almost completed tax return on my computer. But now it isn't in the software. I tried to import it, and it will only take 2024 tax file. I really, really, really, do not want to plug all that 2025 info in the software again. Can you help or anyone help me?
I am using Turbotax 2025 Priemier Desktop version.
You don't want to import it or transfer it in (that is for starting a new return with last year's info) - For a 2025 tax file, just open the almost completed tax return. Go to the File menu up top, select OPEN Tax Return and then use Find Tax File to open that return you saved. You need the tax file to open the return in the desktop software.
How do I find my tax data file (.tax file) on my Windows computer?
How do I find my tax data file (.tax file) in Mac?
Stupid question where is Find my 2025 tax file? I see open tax file, but not find my tax file? Again I am using the desktop premier turbotax software. The problem was solved the next time I opened TurboTax, which updated on its own, but I am curious if this ever happens again. It took my breath away when it happened.
There are two ways to find your return. After you open the software, it shows to continue your 2025 return. Below that are the options to start new or continue from online. Between them is Find a Tax File. You can also find a file by using the top left File button and you can select Open Return.
You can make multiple returns on the desktop version. You can create different scenarios and save them under different names.
