same problem; will attempt to upload 1099 documents via desktop program and they will upload to my online account, but not to the desktop; also only allowing specific document ID upload rather than link to login through brokerage and download all tax documents.
Same issue. Turbo Tax desk-top links to new tab in browser & "successfully" links to Vanguard & imports broker account, but data is not in TTax. Message is "we got your tax data' "you can now return to turbo tax" & you return to same page in T Tax, which is to continue with another import. Data no where to be found. Running Windows 11; no problem last year with Windows 10.
I am having the same problem. The import process appears to work correctly but the imported file is no where to be found in turbo tax desktop.
Same problem on 2/3/2026. Use TT Desktop on Window 11. Consolidated 1099 was not available as of yesterday and I received the e-mail toady. I download the tax form, but could not import into TT. It accepted the acc # and doc #, connected to Vanguard, then nothing happens! TT software is up to date and tried Brave/Edge browser. Vanguard ever will fix or I have to manually type in....
Those consolidated 1099s give all of the software communications indigestion every year. Usually they import tour interest or your dividends or something and ignore the rest. The communications issues are always worked out eventually but if that is the only thing holding up your return then you may want to go ahead and manually type it in and be done with it.
Like every poster i see here, i am having the exact same problem
@user17707048971 so did you configure your browser permissions per the link to other thread on this issue?
I called support and they said it's a known problem, Vanguard download issues. Should be fixed 02/15/26 they said. Can't find online if it's fixed (rep said I should be able to confirm it's fixed). Ug.
