2025 CA disaster payment postponement

I am a FEMA disaster affected taxpayer in CA.  If I file my 2024 tax return now or any time prior to the October 15, 2025, postponed due date but wait until October 15, 2025, to pay the tax in full, will I be subject to a late payment penalty?  I found the answer for the CA FTB, which is no, a penalty will not be assessed, but haven't been able to get a definitive answer regarding the IRS.

2025 CA disaster payment postponement

If you reside in a state or territory that has been impacted by a disaster, the IRS automatically grants you disaster tax relief, which includes the postponement of filing and payment deadlines for eligible taxpayers.  See Publication 3067, IRS Disaster Assistance - Federally Declared Disaster Area.
