I have an iMac and am trying to install an update that has come out in the last week of January. It appears to download ok but the extraction stops at about 90%.
any suggestions or should I uninstall and reinstall the main program?

not encountered this but one thing you could try is to force a fresh update described in the help page below, if you click on the the TurboTax menu and hold down Option, the "Check for Updates" turns into "Download Latest Updates"
