2021 Tax Year Transmissions Not Available

Both my federal and NC tax forms are available and I’ve tried to submit them for e-file multiple times now and keep receiving an error saying that “Tax year 2021 transmissions are not available.”

Yes, I'm getting the same message.  I'm assuming that Turbotax electronic system is not opened to begin accepting e-filers returns.

I got the same message yesterday and again today for federal and NC forms. I understand from other forums that it has something to do with whether TurboTax is able to e file state returns (folks in RI having issues, too) and that there were similar issues with TurboTax and state revenue departments back in 2015. Disappointing and frustrating but only option for me is to sit and wait and keep trying (and maybe complain to TurboTax customer service).

Contacted TurboTax support and they say NC 400 not available for e-file until Feb. 24.

Lots of folks in lots of states having the same problem.
