2015 1040 page 2 ( Lines 39a +b are not on 2016 1040. Did it change?

There is no line 39a+b for senior deductions this year 2016.

From 1040 for 2016 (Long form) has the exact same lines on page 2 starting with lines 38, 39 1 & b, then lines 40 - 79.  As near as I can tell, there is NO change in line numbers for the Federal Tax form 1040 in Turbo Tax.   It is the same as 2015.   Line 39a has a box with the number of "total boxes checked".  Turbo tax automatically checks those boxes and adds the number that were checked.  The first 2 boxes are for noting that the filer(s) were born before Jan 2, 1952.
