17 yo daughter has a job and is filing taxes to get her return back but we are also claiming her on our taxes. Is this ok?

Yes, but make sure when she files her return that she indicates that she will be claimed as a dependent on another tax return.  TurboTax will ask whether she can be claimed as a dependent and whether she is being claimed as a dependent in the Personal Info section.  Its important to answer those questions or your return could be rejected when you attempt to claim her.
