1099-R

Trying to enter a 1099-R which is for a life insurance policy. When I enter it, it sees it as a retirement acct. & is asking for the RMD. It’s an insurance policy that has not been cashed out. I click other which is for insurance not IRA but it won’t let me go forward. Wants me to correct this. Ive deleted it & reentered but still doesn’t work. I’ve been on the phone with 2 different people while filing my tax but they can’t seem to help either. They said it is an issue they are trying to address. If Turbo Tax can’t help I will have to go else where. I will not be paying Turbo Tax if I can’t get an answer.

April 15 is right around the corner.
