1099-R was entered correctly but still says it need review.

Why does my 1099-R from Defense Finance and Accounting Service still need review?

Please try to go through the 1099-R section one more time and see if it will solve your issue:

1. Click on "Search" on the top and type “1099-R” 
2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”

IF that doesn't do it....and if it was initially entered by a picture, or a drag-drop of the PDF

Then

Try deleting it and re-entering it entirely manually.....type it in yourself.

I've gone through it a dozen times or more to no avail. I've deleted it and re-entered it from scratch. I've even deleted the entire return and re-entered it. And I've talked to several people in customer service. Still says "Needs Review" -  Grrrr...

Almost impossible to troubleshoot it in this type of PUBLIC forum...I'll give it a try, but It'd be a shot in the dark:

1) Age related?  How old were you in 2021 and what is code in box 7 ?  (military can retire at a far earlier age than civilians, and that can cause problems)

2) State related?  What state is involved? And, is there any state withholding on box 14?
