1099-R from a Life Insurance Policy

My husband received funds from his mother's life insurance policy. I've entered everything, but would like to know if I can enter the funds received in the "Death" field from the "These Situations that may lower your tax bill".

Unfortunately, this is not something that has a remedy. The amount received is taxable.
