If she filed the Form 1099-NEC with the IRS you should probably report that income as part of your income. I don't know if the IRS will report it to unemployment as unemployment comes from your State. You could ask your local unemployment office if it will affect your benefit as a general question.
To enter your Form 1099-NEC in TurboTax:
- Open or continue your return.
- Click on the search icon in the upper right of your TurboTax screen
- Type "1099-NEC" in your search box
- Click on the link "Jump to 1099-NEC"
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
