1099-NEC Help Please!

I'm a self employed gig worker and received a 1099-NEC with $12,500 listed as non-employee compensation.

$2,500 was for Independent Contractor work I performed.

$10,000 was a supposed gift, but really was a negotiated settlement (no lawsuit) for them terminating our contract.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE, before my head

explodes.
