As a Self-Employed person reporting income from a 1099-Misc, you are considered to have actually earned your income from your home office in your Resident State, so you generally don't need to file in any other states.  It doesn't matter where the employer's office is located.

However, since the work you performed was in another state, you may need to file a Non-Resident State return there.  Check that state's taxing agency website for more specific state info.
