    1099-MISC I do not own a business but i have a 1099 form

    I do not have my own business. I am a RN and I check blood sugars on diabetic patients at a mentally challenged group home occasionally on weekends. Turbo Tax is filing my tax as if I own a business

    1099-MISC I do not own a business but i have a 1099 form

    If you received a 1099-MISC with income in Box 7, you're technically self-employed for this income.  That means that "you" are your business.  See more information below.
