1099-MISC and estimated tax paid vs still owe
1099-MISC form for contract work. In 2016, 1 quarter of estimated tax was paid to IRS and missed one. After entering the 1099-misc data, I owe alot. How do I verify if the already paid estimated tax to IRS is factored in to what TurboTax shows is owed? Is there another form the IRS sends confirming tax that’s been already paid?

1099-MISC and estimated tax paid vs still owe
You must enter her estimated tax payment into TurboTax. It gets entered into the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section which is under Deductions and Credits.
