The tax refund tracker in Credit Karma may show that your return is being processed when it’s actually been rejected. If you’re not sure of the status of your return, refer to communications sent to you by TurboTax, not the refund tracker in Credit Karma.
If you receive an email from TurboTax that asks you to fix your return because it’s been rejected, follow these steps:
- Sign in to TurboTax.
- Select Fix my return.
- Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection, and continue through to refile your return (either e-file or file by mail).
Once your return has been fixed and accepted by the IRS, the tracker in Credit Karma should update. We’re working to fix this error.
