Unable to efile due to WFTC ineligibility (WA state)

Hi,

I'm getting this error while trying to efile. Looks like this is a known tool issue in Turbo Tax. I'm using TT desktop version (premier). Is deleting the state tax return only way to get past this issue? Please share any suggestions.

@SB2013 , I am missing something -- may be you can help me here  .  I thought Washington State does not have any Personal Income Tax.  So I am assuming that the only reason you would be filing a return is to get WFTC  ( Washington state's version of federal EITC ), if you are eligible.  So my confusion is if  your WFTC credit is zero, then why are you trying to file a Washington state return ?   What am I missing here ?

Yes, correct. WA state doesn't have state tax return. I'm following the steps through TT and facing this issue. I may remove the WA state return and efile federal. Thanks!

@SB2013  thank you for responding.  Yes delete the WA return and only file the Fed.
