Most likely the update caused some of the numbers that you had entered to be processed into the return that had not been before. But you should definitely double check to make sure that all of the income that you entered was only entered once.
If you are using the desktop version then just switch to forms view and look at your 1040 and make sure that everything is entered the way that you want it.
If you are using the online version then you will need to pay for the software first but BEFORE YOU FILE YOUR RETURN download a pdf of the forms and review all of the numbers to be sure that your income hasn't been doubled or anything like that.
