I am doing my mother's taxes. She had care-givers in our home at the last of the year. Can that be deducted from her taxes?

Your Mother would be able to deduct the cost of caregivers  (if the caregiver is providing nursing services) as a medical expense (if she itemizes).  Medical expenses are deductible as an itemized deduction if the expenses exceed 7.5% of adjusted gross income.
