Do I add insurance paid on my home to taxes paid on my home? Should I add both together and put it as one number under home insurance? I can't find any section on TurboTax to write off insurance paid on my home.

Your homeowners insurance for fire, hazard, flood, etc. is not deductible for your own home.

It is not deductible on a personal residence which is why you can't find a spot to enter it.
