A received a 1099-S form which was proceeds from a Real Estate Transaction. It was an inherited home from my mother. I entered it in the investments section.

You will enter the information under the investment section in TurboTax program by following these steps:

• After sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
• At the upper right corner, search for this exact phrase: sold second home
• In the search results, click Jump to sold second home 
• Answer Yes on the screen, Did You Sell Any Investments? 
• Follow the on-screen instructions to completion- on-screen, Choose the type of investment you sold - select Second Home
• Fill out screen Enter Second Home Sale Information
• On-screen Tell Us How You Acquired This Home, select Inherited 
• Continue to enter your information
