How do I add itemized charity donations for state return ONLY? Am not itemizing for Federal return.

For Colorado, we get credit for charitable donations if they are added to the Schedule A in the Federal report. But I am NOT itemizing for the Federal Report - only the State report. I do not see the "button" to turn on Schedule A for State Reporting only.

You must enter your charitable donations on the federal return so that they will flow through to your Colorado return. There is no way to input them on the state return. The software is designed so that the federal income and expenses get transferred to the state return. If you enter the charitable donations on the federal return the deductions will flow through to the state return if you take the standard deduction.
