You may very well not need to claim the home for tax purposes.

While a mobile home can qualify for the home mortgage interest and property tax deductions, they often don't apply.

If you aren't paying mortgage interest (paid cash or already paid off any purchase loan) and don't own the underlying property (renting a space from the mobile home park), your deductions would be limited to any personal property taxes you have to pay.

Even then, unless you had enough other deductions to justify itemizing (e.g. state income taxes, charitable contributions, other property taxes), you wouldn't need to claim any personal property tax on the mobile home.
