Mileage deductions
I have a small business which a do on the side of my regular job.
I have a very long drive to my place of regular work. So during my drive to work, I stop at banks, Gas Stations, stores, etc... to leave business cards, put up business announcements, do advertising. Could i deduct the mileage I drive for my small business even though at then of my trip im at my regular place of work?

Mileage deductions
You can't deduct the miles you drive from home to your first business-related stop. Generally speaking, your first and last trips are your commute and the rest are deductible business miles.
