NY State allows solar energy credit for leased panels. I didn't claim for prior year. When/where can I? Or do I just keep claiming each year until I reach the max limit.

NY State allows solar energy credit for leased panels. I didn't claim for prior year. When/where can I? Or do I just keep claiming each year until I reach the max limit.

You can either claim last year's credit by filing an amended return. However, this would be harder than just claiming each additional year until you reach the maximum credit.
