TURBO TAX IS NOT ENTERING THE $300 CREDIT FOR PROPERTY TAXES PAID.
ATTEMPTS TO AMEND RETURN DO NOT ALLOW ENTRY OF $300 CREDIT.
WITH NO OTHER OPTION I WILL HAVE TO PRINT THE RETURN, ENTER THE CREDIT AND RE-CALCULATE MY TAX.
SHOULD I EXPECT THE SAME ISSUE IF I PURCHASE TURBO TAX 2026?
THANKS.

To claim your property taxes you must qualify for the credit, you must be a Wisconsin resident, own or rent a primary home, and have paid property taxes for or rent. You cannot claim the credit if you are also claiming the Veterans and Surviving Spouses Property Credit.
If you qualify, make sure that you are entering the information properly. To review your entries,go to your Wisconsin return, then credits and taxes, and then select the School Property Tax Credit. Once you enter it, there is a summary page that shows all of your Wisconsin credit and taxes.
If after you review your entries the program does not calculate the credit:
Go out of your program and go back in.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

I have having the same problem and trying to talk to support now.
I am having the exact same issue. It seems like a bug in the Wisconsin Tax return from Turbotax where it does not apply the property tax credit. Is Turbotax going to correct this bug. Is there some way to manually correct this information on the forms?
When the $24,000 retirement income subtraction is applied, the school tax credit and other credits are no longer allowed, instructions SB, page 7.
Thanks for clearing that up. I now see what you are saying - https://www.revenue.wi.gov/TaxForms2025/2025-ScheduleSB-Inst.pdf
