Will not allow me to finish something about paying for child care and I do not pay for child care

You may have checked that you had Child Care expenses in 2016 when you started your tax return, You should be able to answer No to the question, Did you pay for child or dependent care in 2016? in the Deductions and Credits section. See the screenshots below.

If this question is preventing you from filing your return, you can delete Form 2441, Child and Dependent Care Expenses, from your return.

Follow these instructions:

• Go to My Account at the top of your screen. From the drop-down, choose Tools (see screenshot).

• In the Tool Center, choose Delete A Form (see screenshot).

• In Review Form List, find the Form 2441 and choose Delete .

• On the screen Delete Selected Form, select Delete. After the screen Form Successfully Deleted, go back to the forms list, and verify that the form has been deleted. Check your tax return to verify that the result is correct.
