Will I have to pay OR tax on the sale of my WA home?
I live in WA State and plan to move to OR later this year. I plan to list my home for sale after I have moved into temp housing in Portland. Will I have to pay OR tax on the sale of my WA home? I will meet the federal exclusion guidelines.

Your
Oregon Taxable gain on the sale of your personal residence will be the same as
your federal taxable gain. If ALL of
your gain on the sale of your home will be excluded from your income, then NO
you will not have to pay tax on the sale of your WA home.
