Why isn't TurboTax taking the $300 charitable contribution allowable even with standard deduction?

For the 2025 tax year,

taxpayers taking the standard deduction cannot deduct charitable contributions. The ability to claim a "universal" above-the-line deduction for cash donations, up to $1,000 (single) or $2,000 (married filing jointly), is reinstated starting in 2026.

I am having the same problem   Where is turbotax is the above line deduction being made    I have $679 in cash dohations documented in TurboTax Deductions section but no such number is being added back anywhere on Form 104, the tax for calculation, Schedule 1a or any other schedule and the number for the standard deduction is just that, standard.    I am not sure TurboTax is properly crediting this above the line number which should be $1000 for individuals and $2000 for joint    Are any other users of TurboTax Desktop having same problem or is there somthing else that has to be entered

As already answered, that provision is for tax year 2026 not 2025.
