Why is Turbo tax is not showing 2018 deductions (donations, car vehicle license fee,medical and real estate taxes) when comparing to 2017?

On comparison of last year and this year's deductions and credits, there are zeros for charity, car license fee, medical and real estate taxes. Is this an error? These do not have the "Why is this zero?" link as does the Personal Exemptions which is zero because of the tax change.

The standard deductions for 2018 are larger than the standard deduction in 2017. The link below will show you the differences.

Turbo Tax is programmed to calculate the standard deduction versus the itemized deduction. The program will choose the deduction which gives you, the taxpayer, the lowest income taxes. Many taxpayers who itemized deductions in prior years, now benefit with lower income taxes by using the standard deduction.
