Why is there no longer any categories for entering item donations with It's deductible? Is this a glitch?

I am trying to enter in the 2022 donations for It's Deductible. There are no categories and the search does not work.

That program is not fully ready for 2022---give it a week or so and try again.

You should be able to enter cash donations for 2022 now. However, if you have donated items this year, you may want to wait to enter those once the item list for 2022 is populated with all of the items in the database (currently available only for the current tax-filing year, 2021). Currently, you can manually add items for 2022, but TurboTax will add all of the common items to the It's Deductible menus later in the year.

Donations made in 2022 will be deducted on your 2022 tax return which you will file next year, in 2023. @las1810

Yes I know this but I also like to enter these while fresh in mind so I don't forget or loose the detail. Thanks

We are currently working on getting ItsDeductible updated. There have been a few additional delays, but it is anticipated to be completed very soon.
