Why is my information from 2017 not posting to 2019 return? 2017 was done in turbo tax, 2018 was done by an accountant. Want to process 2019 on turbo tax. Help please

Only the prior tax year can transfer to the current tax year using TurboTax.  The 2017 tax data cannot be transferred to the 2019 tax return.

A 2017 return cannot be transferred in to a 2019 return.  Only a 2018 return can transfer to a 2019 return.  You are starting from scratch if you do not have a 2018 return to use for transfer to your 2019 return.

Although for some reason, there are no directions for transferring over and when I Login, there is no option to import.  I had a tax professional do my taxes last year, so I have all the information.  Just hoping to not have to retype it.

Hope on.... If you don't have a .tax2018 file to import from, you'll have to manually type in everything from scratch.
