Why doesn't TurboTax have the new standard deductions which are almost doubled?

Also why is the tax credit not 2000 per kid and only 1000 per kid in the latest download? Do these changes not take effect until NEXT year?  With all the hype on tax reform, I don't see any changes on TT even though they claim to have changed it.

The standard deductions increase is for tax year 2018, Not for tax year 2017.  The Child Tax Credit increase is for tax year 2018, Not for tax year 2017.

About the only tax law change that affects 2017 is the AGI floor for claiming itemized medical deductions changed from 10% for everyone to 7.5% for everyone.    That change has not been incorporated in TurboTax yet pending IRS form approval.
