Why doesn't the deluxe edition I bought allow for personal interest paid on a car loan to be deductible? Why isn't the Schedule 1-A included?

The IRS has not finalized (form) Schedule 1-A. Therefore, TurboTax (TT) has not yet included it in the software. You'll have to wait for the update, currently expected Jan 14.
