WHY does turbotax say i over contributed to my HSA when both my spouse and i are over 55 & the limit per pub 969 is 8900?

If you have only one HSA account, the additional $1000 for HSA holders of 55 can be used only once.  You don't each get a $1000 benefit under the same HSA account.  The only way you could each get the $1000 benefit is if you each had a separate HSA account.
